Jacki Karsh is a six-time Emmy-nominated journalist with more than a decade of experience reporting for the LA County Channel, where she covers the intersection of civic life, culture, and humanitarian issues across Los Angeles. Her earlier reporting spans The Westside Current, Westside TV, CityTV Santa Monica, and Young Hollywood.

Jacki is widely sought after for her ability to elicit insight, nuance, and candor from influential leaders, conducting thousands of conversations across public policy, national security, philanthropy, business, and culture. She has interviewed Generals Stanley McChrystal and David Petraeus; Senator John Fetterman and Governor J.B. Pritzker; global innovators and philanthropists including David Rubenstein, Mike Milken, and Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong; and cultural icons like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kyle Kuzma, Danny Trejo, and Mindy Kaling. Her portfolio includes emceeing engagements for some of the nation’s most prominent institutions, among them the Milken Global Institute, Duke University, the City of Beverly Hills, Los Angeles City Council District 5, Teach Coalition, The Montgomery Summit and Combat Antisemitism.

In the aftermath of the October 7th massacre in Israel, Jacki emerged as a leading advocate for accurate reporting and thoughtful public discourse, leading nearly 100 conversations on the Israel-Hamas war and media bias. Her published commentary appears regularly in The Times of Israel, The Hill, JNS, and the Jewish Journal. In August 2025, she launched the Karsh Journalism Fellowship, an incubator dedicated to developing journalists who approach Jewish and Israel-related coverage with fairness and depth.

Jacki serves on the boards of the Jewish Federation Los Angeles, the Columbia Alumni Association of Southern California, AKLA, OBKLA, One Mitzvah a Day, and If You Heard What I Heard. She holds a B.A. with honors from Columbia University and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Columbia Journalism School.
